1. Super white

We’re obsessed with Erica from @fashionlush and love how she always brings us the latest looks in a really edgy way (left). Her style is not super girly, which is ideal for the white boots trend which could go off into too-much territory if it weren’t for some really cool styling. So this works really well with the chequered pants trend that’s major right now. Add a cut-off white top, polished sling bag, small sunnies and you’re GOOD.

2. Up to the knee

If you wanna know what’s in, just ask Lauryn from @theskinnyconfidential. She’s serious #feedgoals and makes us wanna wear knee-high boots to Friday-night drinks asap. Team them with a black off-the-shoulder top and high-waisted short black skirt. We love this paired with sheer black tights too. Another great way to style long slouchy boots is under long dresses, so you can see them peeking through at the bottom. We can imagine a cosy little outing with margaritas in-hand with some close girlfriends. Or for dinner and wine with your guy.

3. Combat boots for real

These combat boots make us want to stomp the streets of Paris with almond croissants in-hand. Seriously loving this style for weekends and when you want to just be really comfy but look like you know where it’s at. They just make an outfit, you know? So you’d want to pair these with some kind of band or logo tee or jumper with a skirt or under a slip dress, and maybe even a shirt tied around your waist. We imagine this is the ultimate outfit for a movie outing and pizza afterwards.

4. Riding-boot vibes

If you want to feel comfy on the school run or even just on 'casual Fridays', there's something so effortless about ranch-style boots. We feel like they give us Hamptons holiday vibes and remind us of days taking road trips to the country, in a super cool picnic-on-Insta kinda way. We love how comfy they are, for starters, but they’re such a good boot to dress down floral dresses, or a soft knit and tailored shorts combo with your socks poking out the top like Nadia Fairfax who never puts a foot wrong.

5. Shiny metallic

It can get a little same-same if you go for basic back boots all through winter (although we insist on having the classics in your collection), but it's such a breath of shiny air to see that metallic boots are popping up on all the coolest feet right now. We can’t choose between all the shades that are coming out. Silver boots are great for cafe hangs when they've got a low heel and you team them with a denim pinafore, and metallic pink boots are perfect for everything from work to a night out. But it doesn't stop there - the trend extends to peach and purple, too... so find a hue that suits your personality and run with it. Team with other brights, like florals or just a simple knit and jeans combo. We LOVE this look if you work in a creative company and want to elevate an otherwise average office look.
