Let’s Take A Moment To Appreciate Cameron Diaz

What. A. Babe. We look back to where it all began.

Oh boy, do we have a crush on Cameron Diaz. She is hell funny and crazy cool, she burps in front of reporters without apology (GQ), is reportedly 15 minutes late for absolutely everything, and drives a Prius because, you know, the environment. Reportedly, she even had a cat called Fluffers. She’s from Long Beach and went to highschool with the one and only Snoop Dog (what we wouldn’t give to see that yearbook). To borrow a line that’s not our own: the girls want to be her, the boys want to be with her. And any wonder, with her famous three-metre smile. Diaz first worked her way into our collective hearts in ‘98 and hasn’t left since.

A walking, talking rom-com, Diaz even dated Justin Timberlake for one hot minute and married Benji Madden after just a 17-day engagement (someone alert our boyfriends, please).

She’s known Tinseltown since she was 21 and has been in the game ever since. She was in The Mask, is one of Charlie’s Angels, and who can forget that solo in My Best Friend’s Wedding? And can you believe it’s been two decades since every single magical moment in There’s Something About Mary? Once upon a time, Selma Blair joked in an interview that Diaz was retiring and she just about broke the internet. (She hadn’t. But now she had. So it might as well be broken.)

So, let’s take a moment to appreciate the woman we know and love in the only way we know how: spending three-plus hours looking for images of her on Getty.
