Forget about any predispositions you had about pink – it’s now the colour for everything. From fairy floss undertones in our hair to rose quartz coloured cushions on our couch, everyone is crushing over the blush tones we now refer to as millennial pink.

Ingrained in us from an early age, pink has always been heavily associated with pretty, ultra-feminine things. While this association still exists (dusty rose is still the most popular choice for bridesmaid dresses and there’s no shame in that) that doesn’t mean we can’t broaden our horizons and challenge the idea of what pink really means.

The idea of pink is diverse. Aside from soft and safe, pink is also brave and bold. It is sophisticated without being stuck-up. It is androgynous and appetite-supressing (apparently). It is fresh and flattering every bit ironic but that’s why we love it.

Rediscover what pink means to you and find new ways to incorporate it into your every day.
