We all work in different environments, some more chic and stylish, some requiring a little more practicality, but we all essentially go through the same feels: getting dressed for work can be tricky. Here’s 5 looks for each day of the week that will make your mornings that little bit easier to bear.

Start the working week strong with an outfit that means business. Tailored trousers teamed with a chic, fuss-free shirt will look sharp and professional for those important Monday morning meetings. Plus, to be honest, tailored pants are a more comfortable option than a pencil skirt, particularly if you’re trying to hide the effects of a wild weekend.

Day 2 into the daily grind calls for an outfit that you can just throw on and go, especially if the first day of work has left you in need of a sneaky sleep-in the next morning. Our favourite last-minute look to turn to is a classic white shirt and black pant combo. A monochrome palette is a fail-safe choice for looking sleek in the workplace, just add personality with a pair of leopard pumps.

Celebrate Hump Day like a boss with a pleated skirt that will take you from desk to dinner. We love the Max&Co. Casanova Skirt because you can wear it with a simple top and pair of mules for work, then swap to a printed tee and sneakers for the weekend.

Unexpected work events always tend to pop up on a Thursday, which makes this day of the week the trickiest to dress for. Choose a look that’s equal parts professional and playful to cover all bases. Nothings fits the criteria more like a pair of printed culottes. Pair with a plain blouse and pumps and you’ve got a winning outfit for work and any surprises afterwards.

More like Fri-YAY, end-of-the-week outfits can be more casual and fun. If you haven’t heard, khaki is the colour of the season so the leather Carrie Skirt by Elka Collective couldn’t be more perfect for a Friday look. Styled with the Gaga Cardigan, this outfit can go either way; paired with sneakers to start the weekend early, or teamed with heels to take you from boardroom to bar.
