"I spent most of my childhood there before moving to Perth with my family at the age of five for a better education and more opportunities. Growing up in the Kimberley was the best and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The Fitzroy River was my backyard so I spent most of my time swimming, fishing, hunting, sleeping out under the stars and learning all about my Aboriginal culture from my elders. From a very young age I learned to appreciate the simple things in life such as family, health, happiness and nature. In my spare time you’ll catch me chilling at the beach or wandering through a national park.”
