"I never thought it was possible at my size and I certainly never thought I would still be doing it now, almost 10 years later. In the beginning, I spent a lot of time not fitting in anywhere – I was too big for mainstream clients and too small for most plus-size clients. I was in a fashion no-man’s land where I really had to prove myself at every turn. I am not sure exactly when it happened, but there was a point when I started to see change. I watched this huge wave of diversity force its way into the cracks and I started to get booked more and more. I am grateful for everything the fashion industry has given me but I also want to change it further. I want the next generation to know diversity and I want them to be confident with their bodies.”
