For as long as I can remember I have always been immersed in outdoor adventure. I was fortunate to have been able to experience all the cool things families do ... Wakeboarding, surfing and diving under the New Zealand sun to skiing black diamonds and playing rugby in the bitter winter. As it was for many Kiwi boys, my dream was to one day put on the black jersey. Throughout my whole childhood, rugby was what I breathed, but one concussion too many closed that door. That time in my life was horribly dark, however it is now what I am most thankful for. It has enabled me to see much more of the world, experience moments I never would have experienced, and most importantly, open doors that enable me to create a legacy.”
