Steve McQueen, James Dean, The Boss. They lived – and loved (a lot) – in their jeans. Denim, it was a way of life, a calling of sorts. Once upon a time the prison attire of choice, it said ‘bad to the bone’ in a way no other piece could.
But, now, times have changed. Denim, it’s of the people and for the people. Egalitarian, a go-to for just about everyone. From Jerry Seinfeld and his dad sneakers to Ryan Gosling sans shirt.
They’re the names we grow up with, grew up in – Levi’s, Wrangler and more. They’re names we live on the daily, names we make our own. When you find a good pair of jeans, you never want to let them go. Whether you’re a dark wash kind of guy, a distressed-look dude or a mid-rinse kind of man, you buy in triplicate (laundry day be damned).
The call’s been heard. Jean Genie: keep her coming. And that we will. We’ve edited the jeans we love to love.
