When the weekend rolls around, opting to wrap yourself in a bathrobe and plonk on the lounge with a glass of wine and some pals is pure bliss, especially after a long week at work. And, let’s face it, streaming a classic romantic comedy (no matter how many times you’ve seen it before) is the icing on the cake to this scenario.

During the 1990s and early 2000s, rom-coms took over our silver screens, providing us with loved-up storylines that were food for the soul (and heart!). We have those years to thank for our endless supply of now ‘vintage’ titles, and the start of a forever obsession with the escapism a good rom-com can provide.
