16 Looks from THE ICONIC Summer Show to Add to Wishlist

* Heart-eye emojis everywhere *

From bikinis to boardshorts, tailored suits to trackpants, THE ICONIC’s Summer Show 19 was more diverse in style and talent than ever before. With a line-up of more models than we can count on our fingers and toes, it was impossible to choose just one standout look from each of the four key trends, so here are some highlights...

Hyper reality has landed. The most unexpected items are mingling to find their true match. Think swimsuits, racer sunglasses, tracksuits and the chunkiest shoes in our collection – it’s an energy. Get ready to work up a sweat.

We’re obsessing over: these fiery Adam Selman x Le Specs shades, Mambo’s Loud Party Shirt, this 80s activewear-inspired Seafolly swimsuit, and everything House of Holland.

Take a trip down memory lane; we’ve got Phantom Planet’s California Here We Come playing on repeat and these runway looks on loop. The vibe is a mash-up of sun-bleached pastels, retro checks and ditsy floral prints, and we’re tying it all together with straw bags and raffia hats – a beach-dwellers must.

Our eyes are set on: Carl Kapp’s sheer organza trench, Peony’s pastel rainbow swimsuit (made using recycled materials double-win!), Cotton On’s candy-coloured swim shorts, and a Sans Arcidet’s carry-all.

We’re pressing repeat on the much-loved 90s revivals like logomania from heritage American labels, denim on denim, lived-in hi-top kicks, and of course, bucket hats. Play it clean-cut with black and white crispness, or opt for that true 90s feel with styles that are a little rougher around the edges.

In our Wishlist: all things Calvin Klein (including the socks and sandals), an Oroton silk scarf to wear as a bandana all summer long, White Mountaineering cargo pants (yes, we said it), a Kangol bucket hat, and sunglass bling.

This trend is all about going back to nature. Look to earthy shades to inspire the colour palette of your outfits and don’t stop at one piece; wear it head to toe. Light reflective fabrics, patterns inspired from all animals in the kingdom, and touches of gold hardware bring neutral tones to life.

Our favourites: this entire CAMILLA AND MARC suit and dress look, the Saint Somebody leopard print bikini, this Camilla print set, and these AERE linen co-ords in the perfect sand shade.
