Sure, true crime is king (and queen) when it comes to podcasts, but a close second are the thousands and thousands of health and fitness podcasts out there. Knowing which ones are worth a download can be challenging so we’ve put together our top five:

TED Talks Health
Known for their provocative talks, TED Talks also have a podcast dedicated to health, featuring everything from mental health, new scientific studies and expert fitness advice. Well worth a listen.
The Fitness and Lifestyle Podcast
Hosted by personal trainer Danny Kennedy (abs, abs and more abs) this podcast covers everything from nutrition, fitness, resistance, health and even the odd lifestyle hack. This guy also competes on the world fitness stage so he knows what he’s talking about. We’re addicted.
Hosted by odd-ball American entrepreneur and author Dave Asprey, Bulletproof radio takes a deep dive in to ‘unlocking the state of high performance’, so expect lots of scientists, biohacking tips and details of over $1M spent on personal self-experiments by Asprey himself. It’s fascinating.

In addition to their book, website and world tour of the same name, Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus regularly discuss the benefits of owning less. This poddy has over 50 million downloads (and counting) for a reason; each episode takes a deep-dive into a topic, everything from self care to additions, with no stone left unturned.
Sleep With Me
Living up to the tag line of ‘a podcast to put you to sleep’, this ingenious invention by Californian Dan Ackerman is basically slightly boring stories told in a monotonous voice to help you sleep. And it works. The stories have enough interest to start you listening but then they taper off just to the point of making you nod off. Brilliant.
