"I grew up wanting to study the environment so that’s what I did. Last year I earned a degree in marine science, spending long nights in the library and going out snorkelling for research on the reef. Along the way however, I fell into modelling. I saw this career as a tool for me to get where I wanted to be; a science communicator advocating for environmental awareness. Modelling has given me connections with all sorts of interesting people, self confidence in my abilities, and the independence to do what makes me happy and to do what I believe in.”
