Has Your Grooming Regime Suffered In Lockdown?

Get back on track with these life-enhancing products.
Men's grooming and skincareMen's grooming and skincare

I’m not proud to admit that Melbourne’s continuous lockdowns got the better of my skincare and grooming routine. On most days, washing my face with a cleanser seemed all but unnecessary. I moisturised if I could remember to do so before bed and my hair would get a wash once a week, at best.

Have I grossed you out? Sorry, but it all just seemed a little irrelevant. But amid the haze that was lockdown in Melbourne, I had an epiphany whilst gazing at myself in the mirror one morning and that was that I didn’t want lockdowns to get the better of me – or my grooming regime. And neither should you!

So, here are the must-have skincare and grooming products that got my routine back on track in no time, and in turn, enhanced my life in a small but meaningful way.

The Cleanser

The Cleanser

Everyone should cleanse their face at least once a day (especially at night). Even if you haven’t left the house all day, oils and dirt will accumulate on the skin’s surface which can lead to breakouts.

Try this cleanser by Triumph & Disaster, which is packed with scientifically-proven natural active ingredients.

The Moisturiser

The Moisturiser

Moisturising should become second nature after a good cleanse of the face. Depending on your skin type, you’ll want to consider what works best for your skin (i.e moisturisers for oily skin, for dry skin, for troubled skin, etc).

This moisturiser by Grown Alchemist is a good starting point. It’s suitable for all skin types and contains advanced Oligo-Peptides and Amino Acids that noticeably improve the elasticity of your skin, and may help minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the process.

The Exfoliator

The Exfoliator

Exfoliating on a weekly basis comes highly recommended by most beauty experts as you want to rid the skin of the dead skin cells which can accumulate and cause breakouts (i.e blackheads, whiteheads, pimples).

Try these exfoliating toning pads, gents. Super easy to use, the Hyaluronic acid will promote your skin’s water circulation and peptides will promote cell production which will result in healthy-looking skin.

The Hair

The Hair

While you might not be getting regular haircuts (or even styling your hair on a daily basis), keep those unruly strands in place with hair creme.

For those that like a lightweight and natural finish, this product by Burly is great as it won’t bog the hair down with a ton of ingredients that just result in excess oil build-up. A little goes a long way, so use sparingly.

Free delivery over $50 and free returns.
