If you’re not up for being a flight attendant, cruise ship worker or a foreign correspondent, try these adventure jobs on for size.
Ski Instructor
Whether you love to ski or board, there are resorts in the USA and Europe that would love to have you teach on their slopes. You usually get a snow pass for the season included as well, so that means free skiing time after hours.
Private Chef
Working as a private chef can see you hanging with celebrities in LA, working on a yacht in the Mediterranean or even in a private lodge high in the Pyrenees. Your clients might be high-maintenance, but you’ll travel and usually eat for free.
Adventure Tour Guide
We’re not talking the flag-carrying type of tour guides, we mean the white-water rafting, hiking, cycling kind of tour guides. Explore some of the world’s most remote places with a bunch of like-minded travellers (and get paid for it).

Scuba Diving Instructor
Like ski instructors, Scuba diving instructors are in demand at tropical resorts all over the world. You’ll need to be PADI certified, but then you’ll be able to spend most of your day exploring the aqua-blue waters.
Travel Blogger
Although it’s hard to make a living travel writing or blogging, it is possible – especially if you have the social following to back it up. If you can supplement your earnings by taking photos as well, you’ll be ahead of the pack already.
