The big secret is rumoured to be revealed in the final moments of Part 3, and fans have taken to social media to speculate on what the bombshell could be. From a possibly pregnant Raquel Leviss to Lisa Vanderpump knowing more than she’s letting on, the theories are as juicy as they come.

Theory 1: Raquel Leviss is pregnant
This was one of the biggest theories going around. Fans of the show were shocked as rumours spread that Raquel Leviss could have been pregnant during filming of the reunion. We can confirm that this lead has officially gone cold as Alex Baskin told Page Six that “she’s not pregnant, by the way.”

Theory 2: #Scandoval was staged
Another fan theory was that the #scandoval drama is fake because it was beginning to feel scripted. It was believed that producers found out about the affair and then re-edited, re-filmed and scripted fake scenes to build up the drama. The theory really started to gain traction after that scene when none other than Ken Todd spilled juicy Scandoval details in a scene with his wife Lisa Vanderpump and Katie Maloney. Fans took to Twitter to discuss the scene, saying that it felt scripted and staged. Vanderpump Rules producer, James Markham, shut down the rumours by commenting on Instagram “I swear on my life, we had zero idea! This was not a publicity thing for the show.” Lala Kent also took to her podcast, Give Them Lala, to shut down the theory. “Scandoval is not a staged thing,” she said. “Ariana didn’t sit with a producer and go, ‘Yeah, I’m OK with my life blowing up for ratings.’ None of it is staged.” It seems this theory is also out.

Theory 3: Lisa Vanderpump knew about the affair
Did Lisa know more than she’s letting on? A popular theory is that Lisa was aware of the affair between Sandoval and Raquel before it went public. Now this would explain why Baskin explained to Variety that the cast would need a minute to process the new information before signing on for another season. However, Mrs Vanderpump herself denied this on Twitter. “Ok… no I didn’t know… until a minute before you all did… I wish I would’ve tho. #pumprules,” she said. She’s since let fans know that she knows what the revelation is… and that “it ain’t that.” Another theory bites the dust.

Theory 4: The show will be based out of TomTom or Schwartz & Sandy’s 
Ok, now onto theories that haven’t been shut down yet by the cast, producers or Lisa Vanderpump. TikTok creator @watchmirandatiktok thought she had an ironclad idea of what will happen in Part 3 – that someone who works on the show helped Sandoval construct a way to break up with Ariana – until @summertimesup commented on her video with another theory that honestly, makes A LOT of sense. “I think the show is gonna be based out of TomTom or [Schwartz] and Sandy’s going forward and that’s why they don’t know if everyone will want to sign,” speculated @summertimesup.

Theory 5: The affair started when Raquel was still with James
The final theory (and the one that I’m personally backing), is that the affair started when Raquel was still engaged to James Kennedy. Hypothetically, let’s say Raquel and Sandoval first got together while she was engaged to James. It was supposed to be a one-time thing, until they caught feelings for each other and it turned into a full-blown love affair. They make a pact to both leave their partners so that they can be together. As Ariana revealed in the reunion, Sandoval used to coach her on how to act on the show, so it’s not totally far-fetched that he would coach Raquel on how to make it seem like they only started having feelings for one another when they were both single. Eventually, they would get the rest of the cast used to them being a couple on the show. 

Raquel kept her side of the deal and ended things with James, but Sandoval kept making excuses for why he couldn’t yet end things with Ariana. Raquel got fed up and started going for Schwartz to get Sandoval’s attention while also reminding him that she’s single. Sandoval began dropping hints on the show that he and Ariana were no longer connecting as a couple to preempt the breakup reflecting badly on him… and then Ariana sees his phone at the show and the rest is history.
