From Tomato Girl Summer to Latte Makeup, TikTok is always popping off with something new that goes against the grain, challenges the status quo then quickly turns into a viral moment, and right now, the latest trend that has been filling up our fyp is ‘Cosy Cardio’ a fitness concept that takes the ‘work’ out of working out.

What is Cosy Cardio?

TikTok creator @hope_zuckerbrow dubbed Cosy Cardio as being a movement for women to reclaim their relationship with exercise”. Not everyone wants to sweat it out at the gym, so cosy cardio allows you to work out your own way. “Cosy looks different for everyone, but my version looks like ambiance lighting, the flicker of a candle, the taste of my favourite protein coffee or the comfort of the show I’m bingeing. I just applied that to my exercise. I like to walk on my walking pad, but I’ve also been known to do a 30 minute workout on my living room floor, all in the comfort of my own cosy set up.” Zuckerbrow continues to explain how Cosy Cardio has changed her perspective and relationship with exercise, and has since continued to post her morning Cosy Cardio sessions on her page with an average of 1 million views.

It offers a more relaxed approach that puts enjoyment and mental health front of mind, making exercise a more enjoyable part of your day and finding ways that serve our mind, body and soul.

  • Dance - even if you’re just in your sweats in your living room
  • Do light exercises like squats or crab walks while watching your favourite TV series
