How do I get ready to celebrate?
I would say that it always starts with a good outfit. I have this saying that if you look good, you feel good, you play good, and I feel like celebration is all about having a good time.
What do I look for in an outfit?
I would definitely say comfort. If I feel comfortable, I have free movement, I feel good in it, then it’s always going to be a good time. I’ve been dabbling into colour at the moment so I’ve been looking for a lot of colour and expression and I think that speaks to my personality.
If an outfit is comfortable and fits well, it’s always going to be something you feel very confident in. An outfit can make you feel confident in a matter of seconds and I feel like colour always makes me feel happy.

How do I get ready to celebrate?
First of all, I gotta put some sexy tunes on to get me in the mood, and baby, fashion and beauty is genderless in my books so I have fun with my fashion, I'm fearless with my fashion choices and it’s basically a playground for me to feel free, fabulous and fearless.
What do I look for in an outfit?
I'm definitely wanting to feel absolute freedom and joy in all the outfits I choose, and baby, I'm proud in my queerness, proud in my brownness, proud as an Australian, and if I can put that all together in a gorgeous outfit – BAM.

How do I get ready to celebrate?
In terms of getting ready to perform for all the events coming up, I’m taking a moment of peace before it gets a bit hectic, spending time with my friends and spending time with my community.
I feel like I'm more nervous when I'm just about to perform than I do when I'm actually performing. I really like to just take deep breaths, take moments, think about what I want it to bring to the audience and how I can create something that isn't just about being sensual or being a performer, it's about allowing others to have the space to feel freedom in viewing my movements, that they feel free within themselves.
What do I look for in an outfit?
That’s really hard because I feel like my style changes all the time, like I love wearing as little as possible – that’s a very well-known thing about me – so I love little bikinis or little bra sets, little lingerie sets, but I also started wearing more baggy pants and crossing a little bit of masc and fem energy. I love shine, I love texture, I love shape – and that doesn’t have to mean that it has to be cinched to my body – I love movement in fabric. When I think of style, it’s just how I’m feeling in the moment. It's not like a set type of thing for me, it really depends on my mood.

How do I get ready to celebrate?
I will be that gal friend of yours that’s got the champagne, got the Aperol, inviting you over. I’ll probably spend more hours at home getting ready than I am actually at the venue.
What do I look for in an outfit?
I’m a bit of an all rounder: I like to be sexy and classy so when I’m a little bit loose I still look good, but then I need a jacket as well because I like a statement piece. She’s sensible, she gets cold!
Nathan Angelis
@nathanangelis
I’m Nathan, my pronouns are he/him and I’m from Sydney.
How do I get ready to celebrate?
Celebrating is what you make it. It really does not matter how you’re getting ready to do it, as long as you’re with the people that you love.
What do I look for in an outfit?
The outfit has gotta pop. It’s gotta have embellishments of silver. It’s gotta absolutely be the moment, and if it’s not the moment, then you’re not trying hard enough!
