Your closet is always incomplete without an A-line dress. Often considered among the trendiest and most stylish choices in dresses, this dress is fitted around the hips and widens around the hem. The shape resembles the letter “A”, and hence the name. Regardless of the size, the perfect dress flatters most shapes and is considered to be a classic contemporary design.

What became a trend was a top, with a highly pleated skirt, which was fitted aptly around the waist. The modern dress is more basic, doesn’t include as many pleats but has a credible definition. Today, such dresses come in all kinds of sizes and designs, right from ones in single, solid colours, to printed, floral designs. Most dresses are not extensively long, often ending right on, below or just above the knee. An A-line outfit works perfectly well with a nice pair of stilettos or chunky heels.
