Powell grew up alongside the runway, assisting in shows from the age of 9. She held her first runway show at the age of 18, and had won several industry awards before graduating from design school. Her label features designs by curvy women for curvy women, giving Hope & Harvest a competitive edge via their own understanding of the market. The brand have encountered exceptional success, having opened shows at the New York Fashion Week Plus in 2016, and participating in campaigns with world-class jeweller John Calleja, and the extravagant car company Aston Martin. Hope & Harvest also pride themselves on being at the forefront of the body positivity movement, making sure to style their clothes on models that look both realistic and identifiable to the women who buy their clothes.
