- External surfaces: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and then dry with a soft, dry cloth. Internal surfaces and compaction plates: Clean with hot, soapy water and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cloths or strong chemical cleaners.
- Do not use polishes on stainless-steel surfaces as this will damage or remove the finger-print proof coating.
- Do not place objects onto the lid as this could scratch or damage the surface.
- To help remove any unpleasant odours, a solution of baking powder and water may also be used.
