Founded by Californian climber and surfer, Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia was born as a spin-off of Chouinard Equipment, a small shop near the Rincon surf breaks in California, who were known for making some of the world’s best climbing gear. The brand has since evolved into an outdoor clothing and equipment company, providing clothes for the ‘silent sports’ such as climbing, surfing, skiing and snowboarding and using specialised fabrications and technologies.

Our cold-conditions baselayer, Patagonia Womens Capilene Thermal Weight Bottoms are made with lofted Polartec Power Grid fabric. A breathable, lofted baselayer to keep you warm in cold conditions, built of Polartec Power Grid fabric with HeiQ Pure odour control for freshness. Made in a Fair Trade Certified factory. Fabric is certified as bluesign® approved.
