The Bayview Loafer from Rodd & Gunn is a modern twist of the classic summer casual. Crafted from premium, silky US cow suede, the upper features hand-stitched detailing and a refined butt-seam saddle for a timeless, elevated look. Designed with comfort in mind, the upper is partially leather-lined to minimise stretching, while the unlined forepart allows the suede to naturally mould to the foot over time. Built using the flexible Strobel construction, the Bayview delivers a lightweight, easy-wearing feel, set on a sneaker-inspired rubber outsole for enhanced comfort, durability and edgy aesthetic. Under foot there is a removeable, moulded, leather covered footbed. For the ideal fit, we recommend a firm feel at first wear, as the suede upper will soften further and give slightly with wear. The Bayview loafer is super versatile to pair with shorts, linen, chino's or cuffed denim.
