Founded by Californian climber and surfer, Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia was born as a spin-off of Chouinard Equipment, a small shop near the Rincon surf breaks in California, who were known for making some of the world’s best climbing gear. Patagonia's Houdini Jacket features an featherweight 100% recycled nylon ripstop shell with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and a self-stuffing zipped chest pocket, engineered to deliver packable wind protection, weather resistance, and unrestricted mobility on high-output mountain pursuits.
