Founded by Californian climber and surfer, Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia was born as a spin-off of Chouinard Equipment, a small shop near the Rincon surf breaks in California, who were known for making some of the world’s best climbing gear. The brand has since evolved into an outdoor clothing and equipment company, providing clothes for the ‘silent sports’ such as climbing, surfing, skiing and snowboarding and using specialised fabrications and technologies.

Designed for comfort and unconstrained movement, these multifunctional hiking pants are built of 96% NetPlus postconsumer recycled nylon made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution/4% spandex plain weave; with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS to shed light moisture, and 40+ UPF sun protection. The inseam is 30".
