Founded by Californian climber and surfer, Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia was born as a spin-off of Chouinard Equipment, a small shop near the Rincon surf breaks in California, who were known for making some of the world’s best climbing gear. Patagonia's Retro Cord Shorts features a textured organic cotton corduroy weave with an elasticated drawstring waistband, designed to provide durable fabric strength, soft skin contact, and relaxed daily mobility.
