STAN RAY Founded in Texas in 1972, Stan Ray makes clothes that are designed for wear and movement, with minimum fuss and maximum practicality, for rough work or lateral living. Priding itself on creating classic men’s clothing. We’ve got three shapes in our five-pocket jeans range—the Wide 5, the Standard 5 and the Taper 5. As you’ve maybe already guessed, the Standard 5 Pants sit right in the middle of the range, residing nicely in the ‘Goldilocks zone’ between baggy and slim. The secret ingredient is that slight taper to the legs—so while they might have the vibe of a pair of classic straight-leg jeans, they’ll fit a lot better. Throw in a triple-stitched back yoke and those spade-shaped rear pockets and you’ve got a really versatile pair of everyday jeans that are built to last.
